Pathway: ShuttleTime
NCCP ShuttleTime is an instructional based course designed for teachers and recreational instructors who are introducing badminton to students or players. It was developed by Badminton World Federation and adapted by Badminton Canada and Badminton BC. The NCCP Shuttle Time certification is for school teachers, recreation centre instructors or coaches, and new or inexperienced coaches. Even coaches who have many years of experience will find useful information in the workshop.
Coaches attending a Shuttle Time Course will learn about:
- group and classroom management,
- how to teach basic badminton skills,
- skill progression, and
- an introduction to the drills used in Shuttle Time.
In addition to the NCCP Certification training, Badminton BC is also offering an After Schools program and an Elementary School Clinic. Click on the links below for more details.
