Pathway: Provincial Referee

Steps to Certification

1. Notify Badminton BC of your intention to pursue the Provincial Referee pathway; Badminton BC will assign the technical official to a Mentor
2. Leverage support from Mentor to work through the self-guided Provincial Referee materials
3. Obtain reasonable amount of experience in the role, including supervised experience
4. When ready, request an Evaluation from Badminton BC by sending email to: technicalprograms@badmintonbc.com
5. Pass the Evaluation and Debrief with Evaluator
   1. Upon completion of the Evaluation your status is Certified for this pathway.
