Technical Officials – Regional Umpire Workshop & Evaluations – Vernon 2022
In conjunction with the BC Winter Games, Badminton BC will be hosting a Regional Umpire Workshop at the Games facility for badminton on the day before competition begins. This workshop will be delivered by Liz-Anne Eyford, who will also be taking requests for evaluation during the tournament.
This workshop is the second step along BC's umpiring pathway and designed to provide participants with an opportunity to review their local umpire knowledge. Participants will practice verbiage, discuss scenarios and umpire with line judges. The workshop fee includes 3-4 hours of classroom and practical training combined, a workbook and line judging resources.
