BADMINTON BC WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

SURREY, BC – Upon completing a comprehensive executive search, the Badminton BC Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Nancy Thompson will be joining the team of professional staff in the role of Executive Director.  

Nancy has worked almost exclusively in the not for profit world for all of her career as consultant and senior director. She understands working with Boards, volunteers, members, government, sponsors and other key stakeholders.  She has worked in the sport system at varying times in her career.

She is a racquets enthusiastic playing badminton, squash and tennis. She competed at the provincial level and played many national badminton championships as both a junior and adult. She also coached badminton in her youth.

Nancy joins the Badminton BC Team on May 15, 2018.  Full announcement here.

Searching for Executive Director

Badminton BC is seeking an Executive Director to provide overall leadership and vision for the organization.  The candidate will have proven success as a team leader, experience working with not for profit sector and volunteer Boards and committees.
